Aleshanee is a mother of three. She is a teacher and writer and looks forward to reading your stories. She lives in Mendocino County, California.
Cindi Fisher, who turns 62 on September 21, the International Day of Peace, is a mother of four young adults and grandma to one. She co-founded the M.O.M.S. Movement at MentalHealthRightsYES.org and is passionate about re-inventing communities where hearts can heal. She lives in Vancouver, Washington.
Both Cindi and Aleshanee have a grown child whose rights were taken away within the psycho-pharmaceutical treatment model. They are indignant of the gross abuses which have taken place and how their childrenâs anguish and pain were ignored and silenced.
The authors of this blog will walk one hundred miles. They hope to raise awareness and to raise funds to help their children in their recovery.
Cindi is maintaining the MOMS Movement website: http://www.mentalhealthrightsyes.org/
